"Carpe diem " - let's seize the day with Kavya

  First hour was by Joju sir and he took class ok changing roles of teacher in digital era and he explained it very nicely and gave many quotes and information regarding the same.   And one thing that striked me was he mentioned one quote that "Childrens donot care what the teacher knows, until they knows that the teacher cares. " I'll take this along my life that we should not just transfer knowledge to them we should have a concern towards them and care for them.  Next hour was optional and Meekha mam shared the link and we joined and it was my turn to take the seminar on revised blooms taxonomy.  And my topic was specifications at secondary stage and i hope i conveyed it clearly ... 

  First class of second semester.  George sir began the session with a prayer and later he completed the portions of sem 1 and explained in detail about muscle system. 

  Today it was health club inauguration and it was a very well organized club program and the chief guest was Anand sir and he took a very interesting session and he even sang songss and made us do yoga and meditation and pranayama. 

  It was social science departments association inauguration and the inauguration was done by the Hon. Mayor Arya and her speech was spo good.  One thing which made the inauguration good was everything was very well organised and conducted.

   First hour was by Meekha mam and she started our presentation on Blooms taxonomy and she explained everything in a very detailed manner and presented slides and it was very attractive and she taught everything very nicely .....

  Class started with Joju sir's a good motivational thought and then he continued with social science optional seminar and they all presented really well.  After that it was Ancy Ma'am class and she shared her notes in google classroom and today she discussed about John Dewey and explained everything very clearly and we went to google classroom to take down notes.... 

 SAPARYA...   Morning session started at 9 with Malayalam association Sapryas association inauguration and it was done by a prominent novelist and teacher Deepu Sir and it was an interesting opening speech by him. Next hour was Gibi ma'am and she discussed about the presentation and asked questions and the session ended well.

 The first hour was handled by Meekha maam. We continued the Reading and Reflection session. The last reflection was done by Megha on Aravind Adiga's famous book The White Tiger. It was indeed a good reflection.Even though she had a poor network, she elucidated her reflections quite well. Hat's off to you Megha for your dedication.  The second hour was occupied by Joju sir. Social science students started their presentations on topics like simulation, blended learning and flipped learning. It was really a worthful session.They did their presentations exceptionally well.  

 Today, first session was handled by Joju sir.Maths optionals continued their presentation on the topic Phishing, Net etiquette and software piracy. It was shocking to know that our data and personal information were at the brunt of embezzlement. Their presentations were exceptionally well. Joju sir concluded the session comprehensively.  Next session was taken by Gibi maam. We were a little tensed because of the question session. Anyway all of us answered it quite well. Maam taught us on the defense mechanism like denial,rejection, projection etc...It was indeed a worthy thoughtful hour.

Today's class started off with Ancy mam. Today we were taught the ideas of Aristotle, the great philosopher. His notions on realism and forms of souls were discussed in detail. It was amazing to know that Aristotle emphasied on the importance of happiness in one's life: his belief of chief good was happiness. Today we wished our classmates who happened to celebrate their birthdays yesterday and today. After the session. Joju Sir engaged the next hour and maths optionals continued with their presentation. Sajin, Emily and Neema presented their seminars on Copyright, Creative Common licensesand hacking respectively. Their presentations were outstanding. Moreover we got add ons regarding copyrights and content creation. It was interesting to know about the colour coded divison of hackers. In the evening ICT club organised a talk which was delivered by a scholar Amrita Mandal Bera. We got chunks of information regarding the creation of PowerPoint presentations and its wider appli

3rd May                                                                                                                                                              First hour was handled by Meekha maam. She talked about the association program and thanked us for organising it successfuly. Gayathri did her reflection on the book A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. It was indeed a great presentation. Next hour was handled by Gibi maam and we continued with our presentation on Howard Gardner and Multiple Intelligence.
